The UV lamps produce UV light and Ozone.
The UV light and Ozone produced by the lamps breaks down the grease particles and odour molecules.
This leads to reduced canopy and ductwork cleaning, and greatly reduces the risk of fire in the ductwork.
To make sure the lamps keep producing the UV light and Ozone, they require regular maintenance, which consists of a thorough clean of the lamps and a full inspection of all controls.

The frequency of the visits vary and will depend on the type and frequency of cooking carried out.
